Lucy is three years old. We have been having a really fun summer and so we wanted to have a really cool birthday party for her. We have an amazing back yard that we have kind of underutilized and so we thought we'd do it there. Tristan took the girls down to Utah to see her parents and relatives the two days before Lucy's birthday and my mom came out for the weekend too and so that made it extra special for Lucy. In the morning we went to the nearby town of St. Anthony for the Pioneer Day parade. (Pioneer Day is a holiday they have out here in Idaho and Utah commemorating the settlers of the area.) Lucy is pretty lucky to get a parade on her birthday.
After that we went home and about ten of Lucy's little friends came over to the backyard for a water party. The kids got to swim, swing, run around, and play with water balloons. We also had cake for everyone and presents for Lucy. We thought the party went really well. It is really neat to be in a place where we have so many friends that can make a birthday really fun.
Lucy is so big now. She is her own little person and is super smart. It is amazing to see her grow up.
