Yellowstone Trip With Stanleys

Well, this summer we have gotten to enjoy the region where we live as well as visits from both sides of our family. Tom's family came up to spend some time with us in Rexburg as well as take a few days exploring Yellowstone National Park. The following week, Tristan's family came out to Idaho and we had a Mellor family reunion at Red Fish Lake in central Idaho. Even though it was essentially nine days straight of sleeping outdoors and another 5-6 days away from home, the girls did relatively well... We love summer up here in Idaho.

Yellowstone with the Stanleys was relaxing and enjoyable. Mom, Pop, Sam, John, and Ben came this time. We had a woodsy little campsite next to Yellowstone lake where we took a boat out one day and nearly froze because of the cold water. We went swimming in the Firehole River, watched Old Faithful erupt, and enjoyed talking by the campfire. In West Yellowstone, we saw a performance at the Playmill Theatre, and ate buffalo at a local resturant. The girls got to see their grandparents again and get to know some of their uncles better. It was a great time.

Aww, look at our little Saren eating rocks and dirt. She's so cute.

Life is good.

We went out to eat in Rexburg at a really good Hawaiian resturant. We love good food when we get the chance to eat it. Tristan ordered a huge burger (that tastes amazing) and even our champion eater, Sam, was impressed that she could handle it.
